Wow another great game. The most exciting games have been in recent years and this year adds to that list. The Colts were favourites, having been there before and especially as they have Peyton Manning as QB, but hey. The Saints came out on top having pressured and harried all game long.
And the first onside kick before the fourth quarter changed the momentum in the Saints favour.
Great event and great evening/early morning.
The Fantasy Challenge was retained by Newell's team with a 24- minus 14 point win over MJR Select.

SuperBowl 44 is decided. New Orleans Saints are through to their first ever Superbowl, and will play the Indianapolis Colts in Miami on 7 Feb.

The Jets did well as did the Vikings, with the Saints rampant.

Happy New Year to you all.
The American Football season has progressed to the Wildcard games and what a series they were last weekend.
New England got blown away by Baltimore, Dallas continued to rule the roost against Philadelphia and a real shoot out in Arizona with the Cardinals winning in Overtime against Green Bay.
Looking forward to seeing those highlights later.
In the Fantasy SuperBowl II the scores are taken from the selections for the games - some negatives where the teams lost. The Top Four teams after the regular season now enter the 'Divisonal' round.

Last Year
What a great game and super advertisement for the game of American Football.
The game was punctuated with a lot more penalties than I had seen before, but the game itself had some special moments, not least the last three minutes just after 3am UK time!
So Pittsburgh Steelers won through defeating Arizona 27-23. It meant that the teams selcted the Steelers gained another 14 points to complete the table.
Well done Paul S who took the Challenge victory for 2009, amassing late points to head our table with 1665pts from Gotham Monkeys and Anders Cheers in third place.
The SuperBowl challenge was won by Pro-Bowlers (GN) who tied with JoyNFL on 14 points but won by virtue of scoring more points in the 'League'.
Well done Graham.
